Our course, "Navigating the Digital Age," is designed to help students, at both bachelor and master level, understand the intricate dynamics of self-esteem, perfectionism, and the impact of social media on your mental wellbeing.

Course Format:
Our course is offered through a blend of in-person lectures and online sessions, providing flexibility for students, or it can be fully in-person. It consists of 12 engaging lessons, each lasting two hours with breaks.

This fully-day interactive workshop is designed primarily for women in academia who want to build assertive communication skills and navigate academic and professional environments with confidence.
Whether you're advocating for your research, setting boundaries with colleagues, or facing difficult conversations, assertiveness is a powerful tool—but one that's often underdeveloped, especially for women.
Why a Workshop Designed for Women?
Women in academic settings often face distinct challenges when it comes to speaking up, being heard, and asserting their needs without facing judgment or misunderstanding. This workshop was created as a supportive space to address those challenges directly, and to offer practical, research-based tools that help participants find and use their voice more effectively.
That said, everyone is welcome. If you identify with these challenges—regardless of gender—and want to strengthen your assertive communication skills, you are warmly invited to join. Our goal is to foster a respectful, open environment that supports growth for all participants while acknowledging in lived realities of women in academia.

Workshop Format:
This is a 1.5-day in-person interactive workshop, including breaks and reflection time. You'll receive a printed journal and workbook to support your learning and help you carry the tools into your everyday academic life.
Who Should Attend:
This workshop is open to PhD students, postdocs, early-career researchers, and academic staff. It is designed witht the experience of women in mind but is inclusive of all participants interested in building assertive communication skills.
